This Sunday, the 49ers will travel cross country to take on the Eagles at the Linc. Both teams are off to a 1–0 start, and the winner of this game will remain undefeated on the season.
The 49ers present a way tougher task than the Falcons. They have a lethal offensive attack with Jimmy Garoppolo at the helm, tight end George Kittle, wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, and rookie running back Elijah Mitchell.
They have one of the top defensive units in the league led by Nick Bosa and Fred Warner.
Here are three keys to Sunday’s game.
The Eagles defeated the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday by a score of 32–6. Going into the game, a lot of people had them losing because of the low expectations that people have had for them.
The entire team came to play, as they completely took control of the game after the first quarter. Here are my five thoughts after yesterday’s win.
During the Doug Pederson era, the Eagles hardly saw their young players perform at a high level because of a lack of player development.
In head coach Nick Sirianni’s first game, the young trio of wide receivers in Devonta…
With the preseason now in the rearview mirror, the Eagles are currently trimming down their roster to 53 players with the regular season being only two weeks away.
As for every preseason, there are players that stand out and others that don’t. Here are my three studs and duds from this Eagles preseason.
Taken in the 5th round of this year’s draft, there was a lot of hype surrounding Kenneth Gainwell. At Memphis, he became a runningback that flashed the ability to catch passes out of the backfield.
His skillset has translated to the NFL. During the three preseason games…
Yesterday I woke up to the news that the Eagles had traded away a 2022 6th round pick, could possibly become a 5th round pick, for Jaguars backup quarterback, Gardner Minshew.
This is a solid move for the Eagles, as clearly Nick Mullens was having an awful preseason, and Minshew is an obvious upgrade over him.
The Eagles are now loaded with depth at the quarterback position, as every single one of their quarterbacks have starting experience in the NFL.
Backup Joe Flacco has been in the league since 2008, and has started a grand total of 176 games for…
A few days ago, a trade between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Memphis Grizzlies took place.
The Clippers traded away veteran point guards Rajon Rondo, Patrick Beverley, and 20 year old center Daniel Oturu, and in return they received point guard Eric Bledsoe.
As of recently, the Grizzlies shipped off Beverley to the Timberwolves, and it looks as though they will do the same with Rondo, as the team already has enough depth behind their star point guard in Ja Morant.
It wouldn’t make much sense for Rondo to stick around in Memphis anyway, as he is nearing the…
With training camp a little over a month away, Daryl Morey has yet to trade All-Star point guard Ben Simmons.
Every Sixers fan, including myself, wants him to be dealt to another team because of how bad he was offensively during the Sixers second round series against the Hawks, which was ultimately the main reason why they lost that series.
If the Sixers haven’t found a Simmons trade package already, then it’s likely that he will remain a Sixer to start the upcoming season.
The team won’t just give away Simmons just to get rid of him. They want a…
Last night, the 2021 Eagles season officially kicked off with an exhibition match against their in-state rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
While it wasn’t as exciting to watch compared to watching a regular season game, it was still nice to at least watch some Eagles football again.
There were a lot of positive things to take away from this game, and there were also a few negatives, but that’s always going to be expected when evaluating a team.
Here are my five observations from Thursday’s game.
While watching the game, I wanted to see a glimpse of Hurts and was eager…
It has been nearly two weeks since the start of NBA free agency, and so far it’s been quite a disappointing offseason for the 76ers.
Sixers fans, myself included, were hoping for Daryl Morey to sign big marquee free agents that would drastically improve a team that got eliminated in the second round to a lesser talented Atlanta Hawks squad, well that wasn’t the case.
There is so much uncertainty surrounding the organization because the front office can’t decide on whether to keep or trade Ben Simmons. …
The Phillies are fresh off of a sweep against their division foes from the north, the New York Mets, and they are now in first place of the NL East. The team has now won eight games in a row, something the franchise hasn’t achieved since 2011, when they went a record of 102–60 during the regular season.
Multiple factors play into why this ballclub is the hottest in all of baseball, but the most important one has to be the dominance of Zack Wheeler.
Yesterday, the team held a pregame ceremony for the induction of Roy Halladay into the…
The MLB regular season is nearing the finish line, as their are only two months remaining in the season. The Phillies are knocking on the door step of first place in the NL East, as they are only 1.5 games behind the Mets.
Since the start of July, the Phillies have a record of 18–12 while their offense is starting to heat up, and a big reason for that is because of the phenomenal play of Bryce Harper.
Over his last 30 games, he has six home runs, 20 RBI’s (Runs Batted In), and a batting average of .371. …
