The Cavaliers remain undefeated, and are now 3–0 on the young season. They defeated one of the premier teams in the Eastern Conference, the Philadelphia 76ers. Andre Drummond had a night to remember with 24 points and 14 rebounds in only 26 minutes of action. Collin Sexton continues his amazing play as he scored 22 points on the night, and he has averaged 27.0 points during the first three games of the season. The cavaliers are only one of five teams in the NBA who remain undefeated (Cavaliers, Thunder, Magic, Pacers, Hawks). There were a few factors that led them to the victory, they absolutely dominated in the paint with a total of 68 points. They were able to score off of 76ers turnovers, and as a whole they were able to capitalize on their shooting. The Cavaliers look to stay undefeated at home when they play against the New York Knicks on Tuesday at 7 pm.

It was an off night for the Philadelphia 76ers. Sloppy play was the reason for this loss. They turned over the ball a total of 21 times which led to Cavaliers’ points.

Joel Embiid missed the game due to back tightness/load management, and it proved to detrimental in this game.

The acquisition of Danny Green was to help improve our horrid spacing from a year ago, but through the first three games of the season Green has only shot 18.2% from deep, YIKES.

The only positive I can take away is that the $180 million man Tobias Harris had a productive night. In 28 minutes of action he scored 16 points and he shot an outstanding 66.7% from beyond the arc.

The 76ers look to bounce back at home when they face off against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night at 7 pm.
