Tobias Harris needs to be an All-Star (1/30/21)
Will Tobias Harris finally make his first ever All-Star appearance? I will discuss why he is deserving of it.
Having a career year
At 28 years old, Tobias is in the prime of his career, and his currently having the best season of his very solid career. He’s putting up career highs in field goal %, three point %, and blocks.
Go to scorer
Outside of Embiid, Harris has been the go to option for the Sixers when it comes to getting buckets. When Embiid is either on the bench or misses the game, Tobias is the one that picks up the slack offensively. He’s averaging the second most points on currently the best team in the Eastern conference.
You can rely on him anytime to get you a bucket. The other night against the defending champion LA Lakers, Harris made a game winning bucket to give the Sixers their best win of the season. He’s been that consistent scorer for this team, as out of the 16 to 17 games that he’s played in, he’s scored 15 points or more.
Teammates and coaches backing him up
Sixers head coach Doc Rivers stated that Embiid, Simmons, and Harris should all be participants in this year’s All-Star game. Embiid even went on twitter to support his fellow teammate.
